This Initial Project Sales class is intended for industry professionals who are new to the project sales position.

Traditionally, many project sales representatives have come from the field with a strong technical background but little or no sales experience. Future sales success will depend on their ability to develop strong relationships with existing customers and provide technical solutions. The challenge for many who are new to the position is qualifying the numerous sales opportunities that exist and prioritizing their activities.

Over the three-day class, participants will learn to handle the relationship and time management challenges with a disciplined sales process. The process includes an opportunity assessment, telephone confirmation, building survey, financial analysis, verification call, proposal, and project start-up meeting.
